Summer Fun Layout

Good Morning!

Hope you're having a great week.  My boys went back to school a couple of weeks ago and I thought it would be fun to scrapbook some of their summer pictures.  My boys lived in our pool this summer so I have a lot of pool pictures to scrapbook.

I made the background shapes using the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files and the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files.

The "Fun" part of my title is from the Camping Fun Cutting Files.  I created the shadow behind "Fun" in the Silhouette Studio.  For the "Summer" part of my title I used the Popsicle Fever Cutting Files.  I just cut the "A Taste of" part off of Summer in the Silhouette Studio.

The boy jumping in the pool is from the Diving Boy Cutting Files.  For his face I used Peachy Keen's In the Garden Face Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great week.

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Yummy Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Yummy Blog Hop!

If you came here from Leah's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog

Today we are making Yummy projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Files.  I have a layout to share with you.  I used pictures of my nephew eating his veggies.

The background shape is from the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files.  I flipped it so it would be taller instead of wider.  For the circle I used the Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files.  The scalloped circle is from the Scalloped Circles Cutting Files.

The carrot & eggplant are from the Little Veggies Cutting Files.  The peas are from the Seed Packet Cutting File.  Oh and the scalloped border is from the Borders 2 Cutting Files.

The title is from one of my Quickutz 4x8 Alphabets, it is the paper doll alphabet.  The twine Denim is from The Twinery.

Happy Birthday!

Good Morning!

One of my crafty friend's birthday is coming up and I thought I would make her a card.  When I make her cards I like to use die cuts that I know she can use again for a scrapbook layout. Recently she went to the beach with her grandsons so I thought I would make her a beach themed card.

The boy is from the NEW Dress Up Boys 1 Cutting Files.  His swim suit & arm bands are from the NEW Dress Up Boy Swim Suit 1 Cutting File.  The surf board is from the Surf's Up Cutting Files.  The sand is from the Borders 5 Cutting Files.

The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps Sea Life Sentiments.

Don't forget to grab the Friday Freebie.  It goes perfectly with the Surf's Up Cutting Files.   There will be a NEW one on Friday.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great week!

You're the flip to my flop

Good Morning!

Hope you're having a great day.  I'm taking the kids to the beach again today so I thought I would make a beach themed card to share with you.

To make the little boy I used the Ukulele Boy from the Aloha Cutting File.  I removed all the flowers, grass skirt and guitar.  Since he didn't have any other clothing I used the swim trunks from the Little Swimmers Cutting File.  I had to stretch them a little bit to get them to fit him.

The sun is from the Sunscreen Cutting File.  The flip flop he is holding is from the Flip Flops Cutting File.  To make the wave I used the Curling Wave from the Surf's Up Cutting File.  I just placed it where I wanted it and then cut the excess off.

The little guy's face is from the Boy Mates Face Assortment by Peachy Keen.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day!
