A couple of challenges

Hi Friends!
I made a quick card today before I had to put all my scrapbook stuff away.  The card I made is for 2 different challenges.  The first one is for Peachy Keen Stamps where I had to make something using my Peachy Keen stamps.  The second one is for Bitten by the bug 2 where I had to make something with a sports theme.  So I figured why not make a card using my Peachy Keen Stamps and that is also sports themed.  So here is what I came up with.

Matthew really liked this card and wants to keep it in his room, LOL

This stamp is from the Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment

You can see that I used Pop Dots to pop everything up.

The Cricut Cartridges I used are Birthday Bash (Card Base), Recess (Little Boy & Basketball-Football & Soccer ball) and CTMH Art Philosophy (Sentiment).  The stamp came with the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Bundle.
That's all for today Friends.

What's under your Christmas Tree? Challenge

Hi Friends!  Our challenge this week was to show you "What is under our Christmas tree?"  I made a layout of pictures of my boys last year on Christmas morning opening presents.  The stamps I used are from the Joy's Life Wintery Puns and Backyard Puns stamps sets.  You can purchase both of those stamp sets Here.  I created this layout while on the Joy's Life Design Team.

This stamp is perfect for this layout.

I used the "How's it Growing?" stamp from the Backyard puns set to make the "Ho Ho Ho" for Santa.  I just used a post it note to block off the letters I didn't want to show up.  I really like how this layout came out.  The Cricut cartridges I used were CTMH Art Philosophy (Scalloped Circle), Winter Frolic (Christmas tree & Santa), and Give a Hoot (Border, I welded it together on my Gypsy).

Had to show you one last picture of these stamps.  I am Crazy about them.

That's all I have for you today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
Happy Holidays from my Family to Yours!

Snowman Kisses

Hi Friends!
I just wanted to show you the little goody bags I made for a couple of Matthew's good friends from school.  A couple of weeks ago Jaded Blossom released some "favor" stamps sets.  I bought the Snowman Kisses set because I am CRAZY about snowmen.  Here are the goody bags I made for his friends.

I put some regular Hershey kisses and some Candy Cane Hershey kisses in the bags.  I also bought some lip gloss from the $1.00 section at Target to put in the bags but I forgot to put the lip gloss in the bags.  Didn't remember about the lip gloss until after I put them all together (Story of my life).  So I just wrapped them separately.  And yes all the friends I made these for are all girls.  Matthew is quite the ladies man at school.  That's all I have for today, Don't forget to check back tomorrow to see my latest challenge for the Joy's Life Design Team

Holiday Treats

Hi Everyone!  Today I made some cookies for Matthew's teacher as part of her Christmas gift (We are also giving her a Gift card to Starbucks).  I thought cookies and coffee make a good combination, don't you?  Well I needed a tag that said what type of cookies we made her so I made one quickly using my Cricut and Joy's Life Wintery Puns stamps

This Sentiment is perfect for this

These cookies are SO good

I like this container because it has a lid and I don't have to worry about Matthew squishing the cookies before he gives them to her :)

The Cricut Cartridge I used for the tag is the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge.  You can buy Joy's Life stamps Here.  The Wintery Puns are my favorite stamp set right now, get them before they are gone.  Because once they are gone they won't be available until next year and you don't want to have to wait that long, Do you?  I wouldn't :)

Also I'm making some goody bags for some of Matthew's friends from school.  Here is a sneak peek of them.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Happy Holidays!

3D Challenge for Joy's Life

Hi Friends!
This challenge was to create something that was 3D.  So I decided to make a Rosette.  I have been wanting to make a Rosette for awhile now and thought this was the perfect challenge for it.

Aren't these little kids so cute?

The Cricut Cartridges I used for the Rosette are Winter Frolic and CTMH Art Philosophy.  The stamps I used are from Joy's Life Wintery Puns Stamps set.
I also made a 3D Ornament to hang on our Christmas Tree.
My kids really liked the ornament, looks like I'll be making more :)

To make the 3D Ornament I just cut out 8 of the same ornament I wanted to use and glued them together.  It's super easy to do but can be a little tricky trying to get the layers to match up.  I used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge for the Ornament.  The sentiment is also from the Wintery Puns stamp set.
And last but not least I made a card too

The Cricut Cartridges I used are CTMH Art Philosophy (Ornaments), Birthday Bash (Card Base).  The sentiment is from the Joy's Life Wintery Puns stamps.  I created these projects while on the Joy's Life Design Team.
That's all I have for today Friends, Don't forget to check out Joy's Life Stamps.  You can also check out what my fellow Design Team Members created at Joy's Life Design Team Blog.  Thanks for stopping by.

Joy's Life Holiday Cards Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!!!   Welcome to the Joy's Life Holiday Cards Blog Hop.  If you arrived here from Martha's blog, then you're in the right place. If you've just stumbled upon this post and would like to start at the beginning, start here at Joy's Life

I have to say I had a hard time deciding which stamp I was going to use because there are so many great choices in the New Wintery Puns set.  You have to check them out.You can purchase them Here  They are a Limited Edition stamp so get yourself a set before they are sold out because once they are sold out they won't be available until next year.

For my projects today I made 2 different cards to share with you.  Here is the first card.

I really love how this card came out.  I think the holly leaves are so cute.

I used the Winter Puns from Joy's Life Stamps.

I used Smooch Spritz in Vanilla Shimmer on this card.
The Cricut cartridge I used is Winter Woodland.  For the card base I actually used the Tag feature and hid the hole for the tag on my Gypsy.  I made 2 of them and welded them together.  The Holly leaves are also from Winter Woodland

This is the second card I made.

This little bird is so cute.

This has to be one of my favorite stamps in the set.  It can be used with a coffee cup or like I used it.

You can see the Smooch Spritz a little better on this card.
The Cricut cartridges I used for this card are the Close to my Heart Art Philosophy and 3 Birds on Parade.  I created these cards while on the Joy's Life Design Team.

Here is a picture of the Wintery Puns Stamps so you can see for yourself how awesome this set really is.  You can purchase them at Joy's Life

Shabby Chic...Create a “Lady like” project Challenge

Hi!  Sorry I haven't posted a while but it has been a little crazy at my house the past couple of weeks.  This challenge was all about creating a "Lady like project".  I don't normally make too many girly things being that I have 3 boys so I thought this was going to be a fun challenge.   I created this while on the Joy's Life Design Team Joy's Life The Stamp I used is from the Joy's Life The Yummy Puns set.  You can purchase her stamps here Buy Joy's Life Stamps Here.
This is the perfect sentiment for this frame since I made this frame for my friend.

The Cricut cartridge I used was the CTMH- Art Philosophy cartridge.  This is the first time I made any of the 3D flowers on this cartridge.  It was super easy to make these flowers.  I found that it was easier to glue the flower together with a hot glue gun rather than some other type of glue.  The paper I used was from Echo Park Country Drive collection.

I am crazy about these flowers

Aren't they pretty?

That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by and Don't forget to check out the Joy's Life Design Team Blog to see all the projects my fellow Design team members made. Joy's Life Design Team Blog

First Challenge for Joy's Life Design Team

Hi Everyone, Hope everyone is having a great day.  I've been working hard on my first challenge as a Design Team member for Joy's life.  Our first challenge was to "Make it Messy".  We were supposed to use our Inks, paints, Smooch spritz etc, on our projects.  We could make anything we wanted just as long as it was Messy.  I think this is a great challenge because most of the time we try so hard to keep our projects nice and neat.  The first project I made was a scrapbook layout.  I created this while on the Joy's Life Design Team Joy's Life  The Stamp I used is from the Joy's Life Wild Life Puns set.  You can purchase her Awesome stamps here  Buy Joy's Life Stamps Here.  The Cricut cartridges I used are Create a Critter (Giraffe & Lion), Winter Frolic (Border, I welded 3 of them together on my Gypsy to make the border), Boys will be boys (Circle), and CTMH Art Philosophy (For the sentiment).
I used Tim Holtz Adirondack Brights, Alcohol Inks in Sail Boat Blue & Citrus.

I just love this stamp.

It is kinda hard to tell in the picture that everything is popped up but here you can tell.
Here are a couple of the cards I made for this Make it Messy Challenge.  For this card I used the Yummy Puns stamp set from Joy's life.  You can use the link I mentioned above to purchase her stamps.  The Cricut Cartridges I used are Birthday Bash (For card base), George (Rectangle), Preserves (Pears), CTMH Art Philosophy (For sentiment)

Here is the last card I made.  For this card I used the All Around Sentiments from Joy's Life.  The Cricut Cartridges I used are Birthday Bash (Card Base), Chore Chart (Circle), Boys will be boys (Frog) and George (Circle for Sentiment).

I love the frog
That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by and for Don't forget to check out the Joy's Life Design Team Blog to see all the projects.  Joy's Life Design Team Blog

Sweet Treats

Hi Everyone!  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  It's been a busy couple of days for me.  Last Thursday one of Matthew's friends from school dropped off some treats at our house.  It was a nice little unexpected surprise. Here is what we found on our front porch.
Under this paper was a plate of cupcakes.  As soon as the kids saw the cupcakes they went nuts and ran to the table to eat them.  Here are some pictures of them eating their cupcakes.
You would think he would have a big smile on his face because he's got a cupcake.

Since its our turn to drop off some treats at his friends house I decided to make some sugar cookies.  I rolled out the sugar cookies and used a pumpkin cookie cutter to cut them out.  I then made some frosting and colored it orange and then topped them off with some Halloween sprinkles.  Well I needed something to put the cookies in so I bought some more treat bags and filled them with cookies.  Here is what I came up with.

The stamps I used are from Joy's life All Around Sentiment stamps.  I used the Close to my Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut out the scalloped circle.  I love this stamp, it is so versatile and can be used for Holidays or Birthdays.  Check out her stamps if you get a chance, You won't be disappointed.  It was super easy to make, I cut it out and stamped it all while I was making dinner.  I think they came out cute.  That's all I have to share right now.  Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween tomorrow!
