Warm Decemberrr Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends!

How's it going?  Can you believe Christmas is almost here? I can't believe it.  I still have some more shopping to do.  I am hoping to get it all done on Saturday.  We are doing Christmas Eve dinner at my house this year.  Where are you celebrating Christmas this year?  I forgot to share this card with you.  I made it for Matthew's teacher for Christmas.

This little penguin is from the online silhouette store.  When I saw this cute little penguin I knew immediately which sentiment I wanted to use.

The sentiment is from Joy's Life Wintery Puns stamp set.

Don't mind my messy writing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas ~~PPPR~~

Hi Everyone!

Today is Design team day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I decided that I would make a Christmas card.  I haven't made very many Christmas cards this year because I have been having so much fun making treat bags.

I used the Snow Peeps Cutting files for the snow girl.  The Snow Peeps cuttting file has to be my favorite file right now.  I love, love, love snowmen.  How could you not love them, look how cute they are.

I also used the Sentiment Spots 1 for my sentiment.  The sentiment is from Joy's Life Wintery Puns stamp set.

Don't forget to head to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to check out what the rest of the design team made.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I really do appreciate all your nice comments on my projects.

Happy Holidays!

Hi Everyone!

This title is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Santa Title Cutting Files.

This adorable Santa is from the Jolly St. Nick Cutting Files.  The teddy bear is from the Santa's Helpers Cutting files.  I wanted it to look like Santa was holding the teddy bear in his hand.

The Jack in the Box is also from the Santa's Helpers Cutting files.   I had so much fun making this layout.  I think Santa is my favorite.

Anything but a Card Friday

Happy Friday!

Today the theme over at the Pink by Design blog is "Anything but a Card".  We thought since the holidays are just around the corner we would make gift card holders.

To make my gift card holder I used the Pull out gift card holder-bracket from the online silhouette store.  I was surprised at how easy it was to put it together.  I didn't change the size either, I just used the size that it opened at.  In the picture below you can see what it looks like when you open it.

The sentiment is from Pink by Design's Scripted Year. I have to say this is one of my favorite stamp sets because it has such a good variety of sayings for every holiday on it.

Here it is with the gift card pulled out.  It slides in and out really easily.

Don't forget that there still is time to participate in this week's sketch challenge.  You don't have to use Pink by Design stamps to play along but if you have them, we would love it if you used them.  Don't forget to link up your projects at Pink by Design

Pink by Design Using Scraps Tip

Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!

I hope you all are having good week so far.  Today over at Pink by Design we are showing you different ways you can use all those scraps of paper you have left over from other projects.  I made this layout for one of my girlfriends.  All of the paper I used on this layout except the orange paper is scraps of paper from other projects.  To make the little squares I just measured the size of my scraps of paper and then found the square shape on the online silhouette store.  Then all I had to do was make them the same size as my scraps of paper.  They are actually just from two different patterns paper I just turned them over to use the different patterns.

This sentiment is from Pink by Design's A Haunting we will go stamp set.  The green banner and white banner is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sentiment spots 1.   The cute little bat is from SVG Cuts' Spooky Cuties SVG Collection.

The spider and the zombie are also from SVG Cuts' Spooky Cuties SVG Collection.  I found the title on the online silhouette store.  The green patterned paper is a scrap from another halloween layout that I did awhile back.  It was the perfect size for this banner.  After I cut out the banner I still had a little strip of the paper left so I used that paper for my scalloped border and just used the other side.

The twine is Charcoal from The Twinery.

Don't forget that there is still time to participate in the Sketch challenge this week.  I hope you'll join in the fun and play along.  Dont' forget to link up your projects at Pink by Design

Pink by Design Sketch Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today is the start of a new challenge going on over at Pink by Design,  This the challenge is a sketch challenge.  You can make a card or scrapbook layout for this challenge as long as it uses this sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch. For the orange and red borders I used the Borders 1 Cutting Files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  The acorn and scalloped circle are from the online silhouette store.

The sentiment I used is from the Be Mine stamp set from Pink by Design.  I love that even though this is a Valentine's Day stamp set I could still use it for other types of cards as well.

I thought it would be fun to make another card using this sketch but flip the sketch this time.  This sentiment came from the You're a Hoot stamp set.  The borders are again from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Borders 1 Cutting Files.  The owl is from the online silhouette store.

I just love this little owl, he is too cute.

I hope you'll join us in the fun challenge.  You don't have to use Pink by Design stamps to participate but if you do we would love to see you use them.  Thanks for stopping by today!  Don't forget to link up your projects at Pink by Design
