Peek a Boo, How are you? Card

Hi Friends!
I have a card that I have been meaning to share with you since Friday.  My kids have been sick and I've been going back and forth to the Doctors.  I made this card when I made the Stinkin' of you  card.  I have had so much fun using the Woodland Critters stamps from Pink by Design and the Campin Critters Cricut cartridge, I thought I would make another card.

The little skunk is just too cute!  I can't get enough of him.
That's all I have for today Friends.  Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

*Update I just realized that I didn't list what Cricut Cartridges I used.. Oopsies, No wonder why my post seemed too short, Sorry about that.*
I used the Campin Critters cartridge (Skunk), Create a Critter (Grass & Clouds), CTMH Art Philosophy (Card Base & Patterned paper base).  The stamp I used is from Pink By Design Woodland Critters set.

Stinkin' of you

Hi Friends!
Today I'm here to show you a card that I made using Pink by Design's Woodland Critters.  This stamp set is one of my favorites, it is perfect to use with the Campin Critters cartridge.

The pictures have been removed because the card is out for publication  :)

I made this card for my Mom as part of a joke between us.  I think when she sees this card she is going to crack up.  She thought it would be funny to give my boys a key chain that makes farting sounds.  I think its funny but can you imagine the looks I'm going to get when I'm at the market and as we are walking by people they start pressing the buttons. Ha ha.

Here is a picture of my little guys admiring my card when I was taking pictures of it.  They say "Mommy card pretty."  I couldn't help taking a picture of them.  They are my biggest admirers.
Have a good day!

Family-Design Team Challenge

Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone is doing well.  Our Design team challenge this week was "Family".  I thought it would be perfect to make a layout of my Family on a recent camping trip.  A couple days before New Year's Eve we went camping in Glamis.  It's the Sand Toy Capitol in the World.  Here is the layout I made for this challenge.  The stamp I used is from the Wild Life Puns stamp set.  You can see it here

This stamp is from Joy's Life Wild Life Pun set.

Isn't he the cutest little squirrel?

In this picture you can see that the squirrel has been popped up.  I also popped up the sun and the sentiment.  I designed this while on the Joy's Life Design team.  You can buy all of her stamp sets Here.  The Cricut cartridge that I used for this layout was the Camping Critters cartridge.  This was the first time that I've used this cartridge for a layout.  I've used it for cards before but not layouts.  I have to say that it is one of my favorite cartridges.  Since we go camping often I'm hoping to use this cartridge more often.

Also don't forget that Joy's Life is having a Design Team call.  I have had so much fun being a Joy's Life Designer.  The deadline for applying is Wednesday, January 25, 2012 which is only a week away so don't forget to apply.

Fish you were here card

Hi !  Today I'm here to show you a card that I made for the Paper Crafts Magazine submission that was due a couple of days ago.  It didn't get picked for publication but that's okay, I'm going to keep trying.  I'm hoping to be able to work on a couple more cards for their next submission call.

I think the card came out cute.  I really like the shape of it.

I popped up the Fish and the Sentiment

The Cricut cartridges I used was Pack your bags and CTMH Art Philosophy.  The Stamp I used was from Joy's Life Wild Life Puns.  You can buy Joy's Life stamps Here.  I had a lot of fun making this card, I think the sentiment is perfect for this card.

Have a good day!

Friends Scrapbook Page

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing well today.  One of my New Year's resolution is to try and scrapbook more often.  I made a layout of my 2 girlfriends and I on my 20th birthday.  I'm not going to say how many years ago that was.  It seems like forever.

The stamps I used are from Pink's by Design's "Friend's to the End" stamp set.  I love that these sentiments are so versitile and can be used on scrapbook pages as well.

I thought this sentiment is perfect to use with this layout since it has flowers on it.

Since I have 3 boys I don't get to make too many girly things unless I'm making it for me or one of my girlfriends.  I really wanted to use flowers on this layout so I looked through my Cricut cartridges to see what flowers I had.  I didn't want to just use a plain flower that would be flat on the page, I wanted it to have some dimension.  So here is what I came up with.

I tried to take the pictures so you could see that the flowers are layered with several layers and are popping off the page.  I also used Smooch Spritz in Vanilla on the flowers so they would have a little bit of sparkle on them.  I'm really happy with how the flowers turned out.  I can't wait to make more of them for my Mom & Mother in law for their Mother's Day cards.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks, for stopping by.

Metals- Design Team Challenge

Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone had a great New Year.  Our challenge this week was to use Metals.  I made a Home Decor project to hang in my house.  I used a Metal roofing tin that is already cut to 5x7.  I bought mine from Home Depot.  I saw this idea a couple of months ago on a blog.  I was so inpsired by Liz at Liz's Paper Loft I had to make one for myself.

This sentiment is perfect for my project

It looks like Joey is looking at the Gnome.  Haha

The stamp I used is from the Joy's Life You're so Punny stamp set.  I created this while on the Joy's Life Design Team.  The Cricut cartridges I used were Freshly Picked (Gnome) and CTMH Art Philosophy (Scalloped half circle).  You can buy all of Joy's Life stamps here
Thanks for stopping by today.
