Peachy Keen Candy Containers Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all having a great weekend.  Today I have the cutest project to share with you.  Peachy Keen's newest challenge is to create a 3D object that holds candy.  I made these containers for Matthew to give to our play date friends.  I had a lot of fun making these because I don't normally make girly things.

Aren't they precious?  I tried to make them to look like his friends "Miss K" and "Miss C".

This one is for Miss K.

These sentiments are from Pink by Design's Friend's to the End stamp set.  I think they are perfect for these candy containers.

This one is for Miss C.

The Cricut cartridges I used were CTMH-Art Philosophy (Candy bag & scalloped circle for the sentiment) and Playtime Lite (Little girls).
The Peachy Keen stamps I used are from the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment
The Pink by Design stamps set I used is the Friends to the End set.

I'm entering this into the Peachy Keen 3D Candy container  challenge.
I'm entering this into the Hiding in my Craft Room Anything goes challenge.
I'm also entering this into the My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge- Any project of your choice.

And don't forget you still have time to participate in the Pink by Design Spring Inspiration Blog hop.  Can't wait to see what you create!

Happy Creating!

With Sympathy

Hi Friends!
How's your week going?  Mine is going great.  I just wanted to share a card that I made with you.  My new favorite cartridge is the Damask Decor Cricut Cartridge.  I love that it has a card feature.  I know there are a lot of other cartridges that have a card feature on it but I'm not crazy about most of them.  But this one I am crazy about.  I think it makes the most elegant cards.

These sentiments are from the Pink by Design "Remembering with you" stamp set.  I inked all around the card with my Colorbox ink in Wisteria.
I love that this card has a spot for the sentiment.

This is the inside of the card.

The Cricut cartridge I used was the Damask Decor cartridge.  The Pink by Design sentiment set I used is from Remembering with you.

That's all I have for you for today.  Hope you have a great day!

Celebrate Today Layout

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for joining us for the Spring Inspiration Pink by Design Blog hop.  If you came from Lori's Blog then you are in the right place.  If you would like to start at the beginning then head on over to Pink by Design.  The theme is Spring Inspiration and Create any one project using the picture below.

Isn't it such a pretty picture?  I was inspired by the little yellow flowers on top of the cupcakes and the peaches.   I made a layout of my sister and I at her wedding last spring.  I have to say this is my favorite layout that I have made this year.

This sentiment is from the Giant Greetings stamp set by Pink by Design.  I made the little flowers and pennants from the CTMH- Art Philosophy cartridge

The yellow border is from the Paper Lace cartridge.  I found these butterflies at my local scrapbook store and when I saw them I had to have them.  I think they are so pretty.

To make the damask I used the Damask Decor cartridge.  I cut out the damask on page 51 using the Silhouette feature and then laid it where I wanted it on my paper.  Once I did that I sprayed it with my Silver Foil Smooch spritz.  I let it completely dry and then I finished my layout.  I also used Vanilla shimmer Smooch spritz on the grey floral patterned paper.

The Cricut cartridges I used were Damask Decor, Elegant Edges and CTMH- Art Philosophy.  The paper I used is from Authentique's Blissful collection.  I also used Konnichiwa & Plumeria by Basic Grey.  The card stock is from Bazzil.  The Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks I used were Yellow Citrus, Rouge, Pink Pastel and Creamy Brown.  The yellow & cream buttons are buttons I had in my stash.  I also used my Epiphany Crafts Round 14 tool.
The stamp I used was from the Giant Greetings set.
**Don't forget to link up your projects over on the Pink by Design Blog.  You will have 2 weeks to do that.**

Imagine Layout

Hi Everyone!
Yesterday was my day over at Pink by Design and I have a layout to share with you today.  I made this layout using pictures of my son Joseph playing with his dinosaurs.

The sentiment I used is from Pink by Design's Definitely Defined.  This is a great stamp set to have.

This font is from the Dinosaur Tracks Cricut cartridge.  I love this font because you can use it just like I did.  I also used Electric Blue Shimmer mist on the blue cardstock to give it a little sparkle but it's very hard to tell in the pictures.

Isn't the dinosaur cute?  They were so easy to make too and there isn't a bunch of tiny pieces, like some other cuts from other cartridges.

Now when I made the yellow and red dinosaur I only wanted to use the orange layer for the spots on the dinosaur.  I didn't want the spike to be orange , I wanted it to be yellow.  So I did a little "surgery" on him and cut off the orange spike.  And then I glued it all together.

This is what it looked like after I glued it all together.  Do you see the red & yellow dinosaur on the paper?  It's the 2nd one from the top on the left.  That is the dinosaur I wanted mine to look like.   I think it came out cute.

And here it is all put together.

The Cricut Cartridges I used were CTMH- Art Philosophy and Dinosaur Tracks.

The sentiment is from Pink by Design's Definitely Defined.

Happy Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!
My oldest son has been on Spring Break last week and this week so I have been trying to do some fun things with the kids.  So I haven't had too much crafty time lately.  Today I have a quick card to share with you.  I haven't made a girly birthday card in a long time so I thought I would give it a try.

I love the Damask on this card.  This card was super easy to make because there wasn't many steps to this card.  I think the hardest part of making this card was trying to line up the pink layer onto the patterned paper.  I also used some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch spritiz on the front.

The sentiment came from Pink by Design's Giant Greetings.

I am entering this in the Link it up party over at Pink Cricut.  Click the link to join in the link up party.
The Cricut Cartridge I used is the Damask Decor cartridge.    I think this is the first time I've only used one cartridge on a project.  Ha ha that doesn't happen often.

Thanks for stopping by!

Anything goes Challenge

Hi Friends!  Hope you are having a great day.  Today I am going to share a layout I made for the Peachy Keen: Anything goes challenge.

The Pink by Design stamp I used for my sentiment is from the Oh Boy stamp set.

I welded the letters together on my Gypsy and did some faux stitching around the letters.

Aren't these little faces just the cutest?

These little guys are supposed to represent my sons Nicholas, Joseph & Matthew.

I am entering this in the following challenge:
Peachy Keen Challenge:  Anything goes.
The Peachy Keen Stamps I used are Everyday Character Face Assortment and The Cornies Assortment
The Cricut cartridges I used were Create a Critter (Clouds & Sun), Everyday Paper Dolls (Grass, Little boys & all their clothing), Give a Hoot (Tree), Paper Lace (Title).

A sympathy card

Hi Friends!  It's my Design team day over at Pink by Design.  The card I made was difficult for me to make.  It's not that it was hard to make it was just hard to make because it was a sympathy card for my cousin.  My cousin's husband recently passed away from cancer earlier in the week and I never thought my first sympathy card would be for my cousin.  Here is my card.

Now when I made this card I cut out the card base twice, once in brown and a second time using the patterned paper.  The back of the patterned paper has this wild orange color on it and I didn't want it to show on my card.  So I just cut the front part of the patterned paper card base off and glued it to the brown card base.  I then inked the edges of my card with the Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks in Olive.

This sentiment is from the Remembering with You stamp set.  I just love this stamp set.  But then again I love all of Pink by Design's stamp sets.  :)

The Cricut cartridges I used are CTMH-Art Philosophy (Card base and flowers) and Flower Shoppe (Leaves).  I also used some Smooch spritz in Vanilla Shimmer on the flowers, it's kinda hard to see in the pictures but it is there.  :)  You can buy Remembering with you and all of the Pink by Design's stamps Here.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Warm Fuzzy Hugs

Hi Friends!

Sorry I haven't been around much this week.  It has been a crazy week.  I've been potty training my twins and let me tell it's not easy potty training twins.  By the end of the day I feel like I've been in the bathroom all day (probably because I was in the bathroom all day).  Now earlier in the week I tried to update my Gypsy and the update messed up my Gypsy.  It wouldn't stay powered on anymore so I had to send it back to Provo Craft.  I received my new Gypsy yesterday and was able to update it with no problems.  I never realized how much I relied on my Gypsy for my crafting, I felt lost without it.  :(  I tried using the Cricut Craft Room while I was waiting for my new Gypsy and we just didn't get along.  Anyways I'm glad I have my Gypsy back.

Since my hubby has Fridays off I was able to make a quick card to share with you.  This is the first card I've made in awhile without using my Gyspy.  I've been wanting to use the new Pink by Design Just Sayin stamp set for awhile and thought this card would be perfect for it.  I love all the cute sentiments it has on.  Here it is.  Isn't the bear just the cutest?

In the Create a Critter handbook this little bear has a red dress on but I wanted my bear to look more like a boy bear so I chose not to cut out the dress for my bear.

The "Warm Fuzzy Hugs" is from the Just Sayin stamp set.

The "Thinking of you" is from the Giant Greetings stamp set.  I love using this stamp set for the inside of my cards.

This face is from the Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids Face set.

The Cricut cartridges I used were CTMH-Art Philosophy (Card base, Squares for the patterned paper and sentiment), Create a Critter (Bear & Balloon).

That's all I have for today, I hope you have a great weekend.  I'm hoping to get some more crafting time this weekend myself.  Don't forget to check out the Pink by Design Blog.
