Welcome to the Pink by Design Blog Hop release. If you came from Dawn you are in the right place. If you would like to start at the beginning of the blog hop start over at Pink by Design. Besides all of the awesome projects we made to show you, there is some yummy blog candy you aren't going to want to miss.
The grand prize is a Big Shot! The Big Shot is PERFECT for the new Pink by Design Dies in this release!
I can't wait for you to see the new Pink by Design April releases. You are going to love them. I'll post all the details about the giveaway at the end of my post. When I saw the My Favorite Kind stamp set I knew I had to use it for this layout.
This stamp is from the My Favorite Kind stamp set. This is my new favorite stamp set.
I used the Tiny Dots Background stamp to make the dots for my scalloped journaling circle. To make the subtle background, I inked up my stamp and then stamped on a scratch piece of paper and then without re-inking my stamp I stamped on my scalloped circle. This is way the tiny dots weren't so bright and you would still be able to see my journaling.
I used some Thickers by American Crafts for my title.
The Cricut Cartridges I used are CTMH-Art Philosophy (Scalloped Circle for journaling), Create a Critter (Camera) and Elegant Edges (Scalloped circle on patterned paper & Red scalloped border).
Now how about a little blog candy.
One lucky follower will win all of this.
All you have to do is
1. Become a follower of my blog and leave me a comment saying that you are a follower.
2. Follow me by email and then leave a comment saying you are following me by email.
That's it, it's super easy. I will pick a winner on Tuesday April 24, 2012.
Now on to the Pink by Design BIG Shot Giveaway. One lucky person will win a Sizzix Big Shot. All you have to do is leave a comment on all of the blogs in the blog hop line up. All you have to do to be entered for the Big Shot is leave comments on any blogs on the hop. For each comment, you will get an entry. Yesterday was my day over at Pink by Design and I can't wait to show you what I made. I had so much fun making candy holders last week I thought it would be nice to make some for my boys for Easter. I also ended up making some for our play date friends. These are the ones I made for my boys. I used the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge for the birds and the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge for the bag and the scalloped circles.
These are the ones I made for Nicky and Joey. For the sentiment I used the Hoppy Easter sentiment set. This has to be my favorite Spring/Easter stamp set right now. It has so many great sayings on it.
This one is for Matthew. I used the Just Sayin' stamp set from Pink by Design for Matthew's bag.
These are the ones I made for our play date friends. Aren't they cute? I had so much fun making something girly.
The sentiments for these bags also came from the Hoppy Easter stamp set.
I used the Create a Critter Cartridge for the Bunny, Chick and Lamb.
Here they are all together. I love the colors.
The Cricut cartridges I used are CTMH Art Philosophy (Scalloped circles and Bags), Create a Critter (Bunny, Chick and Lamb) and 3 Birds on Parade (Birds).
