PBD Challenge 12: Inspiration is Everywhere

The last challenge is Inspiration is Everywhere.  I was inspired by our fish tank.  It's not the best picture but you can still see the fish.  :)

Here is my card.  I cut everything out on my Cameo and the sentiment is from the Crikey stamp set.  The fish, seaweed and clam are from Lettering Delights Something Fishy SVG set.

I hope you had fun playing along with all the challenges.

The hot dog is from Lettering Delights Backyard Fun.  I created the card base by using the Offset feature and then welding them together.  I used my Cameo to make my card.

The sentiment is from My Thoughts Exactly's Grillin' n Chillin' stamp set.

The orange and banana are from Orange You Awesome set by Lisa Norris.  Aren't they super cute?  There are 6 faces that come with this set.  Here is the complete set.

The sentiment is from the new stamp set called Attitude

I stamped the banana and orange on patterned paper and then cut then out by hand.  I then stamped the faces and colored the eyes and teeth in using my white gel pen.  I cut out the card base and scalloped circle on my Cameo.  I thought it would be fun to try something different.  This is the first card I have made that didn't have a die cut on it.  I think it came cute.

Wobble Wednesday Challenge #18

Happy Monday!

Today I'm here to share a card I made for my friend's daughter.  I thought her daughter would love seeing the mermaid on an Action Wobble.  Wobble Wednesday has a challenge going on right now and the challenge is to use an Action wobble and a brad on your card.   I used a flower brad for the flower in her hair.

The sentiment is from Pink by Design's new stamp set called 29 & Holding.  I also sprayed the blue patterned paper with Smooch spritz in Vanilla Shimmer.  I wanted it to shimmer like the water does in the sun.  I used Peachy Keen's Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment for her face.  Isn't she pretty?

Below you can see the mermaid in action on the Action Wobble.

The sentiment below is from Pink by Design's Giant Greetings.

I'm entering this into the Wobble Wednesday Challenge #18: Use a Brad

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a great week.

Creative Hidden Tag -~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge

Yeah it's finally Friday!
Today is my first post as a Stuck on U Sketches Die cut Team member.  I'm so excited to show you my first project.  Our challenge was to make a project with a hidden tag.  Here is my scrapbook layout.

Below you can see my tag when it isn't hiding under my picture.  I used some twine from Buttercream & Blossom twine from The Twinery at the end of my tag so it would be easy to pull out from behind the picture.

I cut out this tag from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  It orignally had a small butterfly in the corner of the tag but I hid it using my Gypsy.

This sentiment is from the To the Moon stamp set from Pink by Design

These triangle pennants are from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.  The half scalloped circle is also from the CTMH cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll join us in this fun challenge over at Stuck on U Sketches.

Wobble Wednesday- Red, White and Blue Challenge

Happy Saturday!
Today I'm here to show a card I made for the Red, White and Blue Challenge going on at Wobble Wednesday.  I cut out the card base and square using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge.  I cut out the crab using my Cameo.
My fellow design team member Lisa Norris of Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons made this adorable crab cutting file. I fell in love with this crab when I saw it. There are actually 3 crabs. This crab is the angry crab. You can purchase them HERE.   She also has a cute Sea Life cutting file which can be seen HERE.

I popped up the crabs claws and his eyes because I really wanted them to stand out.  The crab is also on an Action Wobble.  Below you can see the crab in action.

This sentiment is from Pink by Design's Crikey stamp set.

I wanted the crab's eyebrows to be attached to him while he was on the Action Wobble.  So I cut a piece of metal from a paper clip and then attached it to the back of the crab.  I used glue dots to attach his eyebrows to the paper clip.

I'm entering this card in the Wobble Wednesday Red White and Blue Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a great day!

Peachy Keen Color Inspiration Challenge

Hi!
I'm back with another challenge.  I've had a lot of fun playing along with the different Peachy Keen Challenges this month.  This week the challenge was to make a project using these colors.

Here is the layout I made for this challegne.  I was inspired by the white, yellow and pink.  To make the circles I used my 1 1/4 inch Creative Memories circle punch and punched them out.  The blue and green circles were cut out on patterned paper and the yellow and pink ones were cut out from paint samples that I got from Home Depot.

For the boys faces I used the  Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment from Peachy Keen.  I used the Baby Steps cartridge for the bath tub die cut.   I couldn't only have one boy in the bath tub since I have twins so I cut out another head and hands and put it where the bird was sitting.  It originally only had one boy on it and a bird sitting next to the boy.

To make the title I used my Quickutz Relax font.  Remember those?  I've had this font for a while now and never used it, I thought it would be perfect to use for this layout.

Thanks for stopping by today.
