Holding your hand is one of my favorite things

Happy Friday Friends!

This week the challenge going on over at Pink by Design is to create a card, layout or 3D item with a bird or birds on it.  I made a cute owl card to share with you.  I love all things owl and when I saw these owls in the online Silhouette store I knew I just had to have them.

I used this Square Card to make my card base.  I used the purple 12x12 background shape from this 12x12 background set for my could patterned paper.

These cute owls can be found HERE in the online Silhouette store.

I used the To The Moon stamp set for my sentiment.  This sentiment is perfect for the owls since they are holding each others wing.

I'm entering this in the Ink it Pink Bird Challenge.  I hope you'll join us.

Have a good week!

Hey Hot Stuff

Happy Monday!

Saturday was my day to post over at Pink by Design and I have a fun card to share with you.  I thought it would be fun to make this card for my friend because she is obsessed with mustaches.  Wait that doesn't sound right, Does it? ha ha.  Anyways when I saw this little hot sauce bottle I knew that I just had to make her a card with it.

The hot sauce bottle is from Lettering Delights Cinco De Mustache Cut it set.  I love this set.  To make the card base I just offset my image.  I then went to the replicate menu and selected the mirror above option.  The next thing I did was group them together and weld them together.  Easy peasy, lemon squeezey!  :)

The sentiments are from Pink by Design's Summer Vacation stamp set.  It's actually 2 different sentiments that I combined.  The first sentiment is "Hey Hot Stuff" and the second is "You are my sunshine".

Thanks for stopping by today!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Guest Designer

~~If you are looking for the SOUS Die Cut Challenge CLICK HERE ~~

Hi Everyone!
Today I have a post for you today as a Guest Designer for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  I love the cutting files Lisa designs. Some of my favorites are the Little Swimmers Cutting Files and the Moody Crab Cutting Files.  If you haven't stopped over and checked out her store you should.  CLICK HERE to go check out her store.  Don't forget to sign up for her newsletter, every Friday there is a freebie.
The cutting files that I'm featuring are the Get Well Cutting Files and the Feeling Icky Title

For my title I used last week's Friday Freebie Feeling Icky Title.  Isn't it a great title?  I love the little face, it's too cute.

The sick bug is from the Get Well Cutting Files.  I just think he is too cute.  The twine is from The Twinery.  I used Ocean and Seaweed

For my second project to share with you I made a card.

I used the Sick Whale also from the Get Well cutting files.  I used the 4 Scalloped Circles from the online Silhouette store and welded it together to make my card base.  The inside cirlce also comes with the 4 scalloped circle file.

I sprayed the entire card with Vanilla Shimmer mist to give it some shine.  The sentiment is from You're so Punny stamp set from Joy's Life.  I also used pop dots under the whale but it is hard to tell in the pictures.  But trust me it's there.  :)
Don't forget to stop by and check out Pretty Paper Graphics

Hot August Nights (Vehicles) ~ SOUS Challenge

Happy Friday Friends!
Today there is a new challenge going on over SOUS, the challenge is vehicles.  Last year I took Nicky & Joey over to the local firestation for their annual open house.  I thought the kids would get a kick out of it.

For my title I used the LD Fat Jack font from the online Silhouette store.
After placing title on my mat I used the Offset Selected Shape feature to create the shadow of the font.  I then made another copy of the title.  I then grouped all the letters together with the shadow together and welded them together to make a blacked out shadow of my font.

I found this Fire Truck from the online Silhouette Store.  Isn't it the cutest?  I think it's just adorable.  The Fire Hat is also from the online Silhouette store.  I wanted to have two of the hats since each of my twins had their own hat.  So I put two of the fire hats on my mat, then I went to the replicate menu.  From the "Replicate menu" I selected one of the hats and clicked on "Mirror Left", that flipped the image of my hat.

That's all I have for you today.  I hope you enjoyed my post today.  I hope you'll join us in the Vehicle challenge over at SOUS.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

First day of 1st Grade

Happy Monday!

Today I'm here to show you the card I made for the Ink it Pink Challenge going on over at Pink by Design.  This challenge is about incorporating school supplies on to your card.

Here is my card.  I made this card on my Cameo.  I used Card Base 6 for my card and scalloped circle.  The frog is from Lettering Delights Toad-ally School Cut it Set.  I found these really cute swirly paper clips that I thought would be really cool to use on my card.

The sentiment is from Pink by Design's School Days.  I used my son's glue stick to glue down the scalloped circle onto my card base.

I'm entering this card into Pink by Design's Ink it Pink Challenge 11   I hope you'll join us.

The sentiment came from Pink by Design's 29 and Holding stamp set.

The sentiments are from the Tooth Fairy stamp set.  The twine is from The Twinery, I used Marigold and Caribbean.

I thought it would be cute to put the tooth on an Action wobble.  Below you can see him in action.  The card base is Card Base #4 from the Online Silhouette Store.  The tooth is from Dear Tooth Fairy cut it set from Lettering Delights.  The little face is from Peachy Keen's The Cornies Assortment.

My Thoughts Exactly August Challenge

Happy Monday!

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the August Challenge that is going on over at My Thoughts ExactlyThis month the challenge is to create any project that includes a Pun.  I've always wanted to make a wheel card and I found this cute one on the Silhouette online store.

I Whale-y love you.

Whale done.

The sentiments I used are from My Thought's Exactly's Under the Sea stamp set.  They work perfectly for this card.  What I love about this wheel card is that I can put 4 different sentiments on this one card.

You're Whale-y great

Get Whale soon.
This cute little whale is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sea Life Cutting Files.  I put some foam tape under him to make him stand out a little more.

School is Cool ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge

Happy Friday!
This week my oldest son Matthew went back to school and started the 1st grade.  I can't believe summer is already over.  The new die cut challenge is that is going on over at Stuck on U Sketches is "School is Cool".  I knew I wanted to make a scrapbook page for Matthew's first day of 1st grade.  I didn't have the picture printed at the time I took these pictures so I just left a spot to slide my picture in behind the frog.
I used the 12x12 Background Shapes and 3 Notebook office borders and grouped them together and then welded them together to make my background shape.  They are both by Lori Whitlock and are from the Silhouette online store.  My title is also from Lettering Delight's Toad-ally School cut it set.

This cute little frog is from Lettering Delights Toad-ally School Cut it Set.  Isn't he cute?  I had so much fun making him.

The pencil and eraser are from Lettering Delight's Pop School Cut it set.  I used some Marigold twine from The Twinery.  For my journaling box I used the 5 bracket labels with shadows by Lori Whitlock, it is also from the Silhouette online store.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to stop by Stuck on U Sketches and check out what the rest of the design team made.  I hope you'll join in the challenge.

Cameo Creations Pool Party Challenge

Hi Friends!

How's going?  Sorry I haven't been around much lately.  My oldest son started school this week so we've been trying to get a routine going.  Cameo Creations has a Pool Party Challenge going on right now.  I thought it would be fun to make a layout using some of the cut files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  These pictures are from the Pool party we went to before the end of the school year.

Sorry this isn't the best picture of the layout, I had a hard time taking a picture of both pages.  The wind kept knocking my pages over.  The little boy swimmer is from the Little Swimmers Cutting Files Set.  Isn't he the cutest?  I seriously can't get enough of Lisa's Cutting files.

The title is also from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  Lisa gave it away as a freebie last Friday.  You should sign up for her Newsletter, this way you don't miss out on coupons and freebies.  You can sign up for her Newsletter HERE.

The beach ball is also from the Little Swimmers Cutting Files.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love it if you would leave me a comment.  I do read all the nice comments you leave.  :)
