PPPR~ Let's be Jolly!

Good Morning!!

Today is Design Team Day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and I have a festive holiday card to share with you.  I just realized that I haven't made any Christmas cards this year.  So this will be my first one.  How weird is that?  Normally I have a stack of them to send out.  I'm still in shock that Christmas is next week.

For the shape of the card I used the Scalloped Circles Cutting File.  The sentiment shape is from the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting File.  This little adorable elf is from the Santa's Helpers Cutting File.
For face I used the Peachy Keen The Moodies Face Assortment.

This sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Christmas Cheer Stamp set.  I think this sentiment goes perfect with her.  Doesn't she look jolly?  LOL

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll be back on Thursday with a project for Timeless Twine.

Believe

Good Morning!

Today I am guest designing for A. Jillian Vance Design.  I made a Santa Sleigh to share with you today.  My Mom loves Santa and I think this is the perfect little gift for her.

For the sentiment I used the Staching Through the Snow Stamp set by A. Jillian Vance Design.  The sleigh is from the Santa's Visit SVG Kit by SVG Cuts.   The twine is Cherry Red, Olive Green and Natural Twine by Timeless Twine.  I used the 3GJ Bow Maker to make my bow.  I love the Bow maker, it really makes my life easier when it comes to tying bows.  :)

Below you can see the top view of the sleigh.  I filled it with some red shredded paper and then put the Almond Hershey Kisses on top.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my project today!  Stop on over to my blog at
Melisa's Crafty Creations.  I would love to have you check out my blog!

A Gift for you

Good Morning.

I don't know about you but I love this time of the year.  I think one of my favorite things to see is the reaction on someone's face when they are opening their presents.  I love giving gifts, even if they are small gifts.  I have this cute little box to share with you today.  It is perfect for some Oreo truffles.  Mmmm Oreo's. ;)  Check out my gift box.

The box is the Kraft Natural Pinstripe Box from Timeless Twine.  To wrap the box I used the Olive Green & Cherry Red Twine.  I thought instead of wrapping the box in wrapping paper I would use the doily as a nice little accent.  I love how everything looks together.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thursday!!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here with you today.  Can you believe it next week will be Thanksgiving?  I know I can't.  It all seems to be going too fast for me.  Before we know it Christmas will be here!!  I thought it would be nice to send a little something to Matthew's teacher this week since school will be out next week.

I used a white bag and embossed it with my Polka Dots Embossing folder. I put a cookie inside of the little bag before I decorated it as well.  I wish I would have taken a picture of the cookie before because it was decorated so beautifully.  (Note to self: Take picture of the cookie before.  LOL)

The leaves and sentiment shape are from the Online Silhouette Store.  The sentiment is from It's all Fall Puns from Joy's Life.  The twine is Timeless Twine's Autumn Splendor.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great Thanksgiving.

~~PPPR~~ Baby Shower Banner

Good Morning!!

Today is Design Team Day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  My friends and I decided to have a surprise baby shower for a mutual friend of ours.  Our friend is having a baby girl in January.  I wanted to make a banner for her to put in the baby's room.  The problem is that she still hasn't decided what they are going to name their daughter so I had to leave it blank.  I told her that once they decide on a name I will cut it out for them

Here is my banner.

To make the banner I used the Simple Banners Cutting File.  I also used the Layered Labels 2 Cutting Files to put the letters on (Once my friend picks out a name for her daughter).

The lion, giraffe & zebra are from the Safari Love Cutting File.  The Monkey is from the Birthday Critters Cutting File.

The bow on the giraffe is from the Honey Bees Cutting File.  I used the Pink & White bundle of Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.

The flowers are from the Valentine Kid's Cutting File and the Lady Bug Cuttting flowers.  The twine is Bubblegum Pink from Timeless Twine.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed seeing the banner I made.

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Super Hero Blog Hop

If you came here from Jeanne's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog.  Today we are using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files to make projects that are a Superhero theme.  I decided to make a layout.  It feels like I haven't made a layout in a while.  When my twins were babies my hubby would call me Super Mom for taking all 3 of our boys shopping by myself.  This particular trip I was pushing their double stroller and pulling a shopping cart behind me.  I had my oldest son Matthew take the picture.  It's funny how fast time flys when you have kids.

For the background shape I used the Borders 2 Cutting File to make the scalloped shape. I also used the Sentiment Shapes 1 Cutting File to make the banner in the background.

For my title I used the Super Mom & Dad Cutting Files.  The girl super hero is from the Superheroes Trio 2 Cutting File.  Isn't she the cutest thing you have ever seen?  I love how she turned out.    Her face is from Peachy Keen's Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment.

Baby Blocks

Good Morning!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here today.  One of my dear friends is having a baby girl in January and I thought it would be fun to have a surprise baby shower for her.  Here are some of the decorations that I made.  I got this file from SVGCUT's Bundle of Joy SVG Kit.

The top of the baby blocks come off so you could add some candies inside.  I was going to add some jordan almonds but then I remembered that my friend's son has nut allergies so I scratched that idea.

I used the Bubble Gum Pink Twine and the Aqua Blue Twine to decorate the blocks.

I also used the Aqua Blue Twine on the buttons of the shoes.  I have to tell you it has been a lot of fun seeing so much pink on my scrapbook table lately.  It doesn't happen often since I have 3 boys.

Have a great day!!
