Easter Baskets

Hi Crafty friends!

Melisa from Melisa's Crafty Creations here with you today.  I have a some really cute little Easter baskets that I made for my friend's two daughters.  I don't get to make many girly things being that I have 3 boys, but it sure is fun to do something different every once in a while.  Now if I can just figure out what to make for my boys.

I used the Bubble Gum Pink and Lemonade Yellow Twine for the bow on my first basket.  The decorations on the front of the baskets are stickers that have been popped up with pop dots.

For this basket I used the Olive Green and Lemonade Yellow Twine for the bow.  I love combining different colors of twine together.  The baskets are from the Online Silhouette store.

Here is a view of the top of the baskets.  I filled them with a bunch of candy.  I'm sure my friend is going to love me when her girls are bouncing from the walls from all the sugar.  Ha ha.  That's what friends are for right?  I'm sure she'll pay me back some way.  :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a Twine-tastic day!!!

The Timelessly Odd Hop

Some Odd Girl and Timeless Twine decided to get together for a little playdate, and we are SO pleased you’ve joined us! We hope you’ll find plenty of inspiration as you make your way around to all of the designers’ personal blogs, and be sure to leave a little love at each stop along the way, because there are THREE gorgeous spools of Timeless Twine and one $25 gift certificate to Some Odd Girl up for grabs!
Our hop, now being lovingly referred to as “The Timelessly Odd Hop”, runs now through Sunday, March 17th at midnight EST, so you have plenty of time to make your way around the circuit. It’s a big hop, ‘cuz we have TONS of amazing designers who were absolutely excited to combine their love for all things cute, quirky, clever, and crafty, so take your time and ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY!

Here is what I made for the hop.  I made a fun little 3D Box.  I was given the Big Wishes Mae stamp set to work with.  I thought it would be fun to make my own border using what is supposed to be the cake frosting.

I also used the hearts to make a border next to the sentiment.  The twine is the Black Kraft Bakers Twine from Timeless Twine.  I love the color combination of the black and kraft together.

Here is a side view of the 3D box.  It's perfect to put a giftcard or some chocolates in.

You're next stop in the hop is Piali.  Thanks for stopping by today!

If you’ve just dropped by randomly and haven’t been hopping from the beginning, here’s how it’s all going down:
