~~PPPR~~Popsicle Fever Layout

Good Morning Friends!

Today is Design Team day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I made a fun summer layout to share with you.

I decided to make my layout a shaped layout.  I used the Layered Labels 1 cutting file for my background paper.  I used a scalloped circle from the Scalloped Circles cutting file for my journaling spot.

The title and the push pop are from the Popsicle Fever Cutting file.  I love all the layers of the title and the push pop.  There is so much detail.

Don't forget to head over to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to see what the rest of the design team created.

Have a good day!

Snowman Kisses

Good Morning!

Today I am Jaded Blossom's Guest Designer for the day.  This month we are making Christmas projects to share with you.  For my project I made a snowman to share with you today.  When it comes to decorating for Christmas I am absolutely crazy about Snowmen.  I love to have them all over my house.

Isn't he adorable?  His hat comes off so you can fill him with candy.  I used the Winter Candies stamp set for the candies.  I think they go perfect with the snowman.  I cut the scalloped circles out at 1.00" and the regular circles at .81".  The Scalloped Circle and Regular Circle are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

I crocheted his scarf using the Natural Twine and Cherry Red Twine from Timeless twine.  The snowman is from the Christmas Open House SVG File from SVG Cut's

I hope you enjoyed my project.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a great weekend!!

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-29 :: Just Cards :: Show Me The Money!

Good Afternoon!

I've got to make this a short post this afternoon.  Today is my 8 year anniversary and I've got to get ready to go to dinner with my husband.   I made this card for the Peachy Keen Just Cards Show Me the Money ChallengeThe challenge was to make a card that would hold a gift card or money.  I chose to make a card to hold a gift card.

This cute little face is from the Just Baby Faces Assortment.

I didn't have a Babies R Us Gift card at home so I had to use a Hobby Lobby gift card.  :)

I hope you like my card.  Have a great evening!!

Gorgeous Layout

Happy Thursday!

Today is my day over at Timeless Twine.  Aren't you excited that it's almost Friday?  I am. I don't know about you but there aren't very many pages in my scrapbook just about me.  I think there should be a couple, Right?  I took this picture of myself on New Year's Eve last year.  It's my husband's favorite picture of me.  He says I'm gorgeous.  Awww!  Okay now enough of the mushy stuff.  Here is my layout.

I used the Beautiful Purple Passion Twine on my layout.  I made the hearts & swirly background myself using my Cameo.  I then cut it out and added the pink polka dot paper behind it.  I used Tim Holtz' Distress Ink in Shaded Lilac to shade all around the hearts and swirl.  I did all the inking before I took it off my mat, it was a lot easier that way.

The title is from the online silhouette store.  In the picture below you can see the twine looped around the heart.  After I glued the heart down I just let the twine fall the way it wanted and then glued it down.

This heart is one of the hearts that was cut out of the background.

I hope you like my layout.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great day!!
