Christmas Countdown Sign

Good Morning!

I don't know about you but I can't believe that the holidays are just around the corner.  This year is going by way to fast for me.  I thought it would be fun to make a Count down to Christmas/Winter Break sign. I am absolutely crazy about Snowmen and have them all over my house during the holidays, so I wanted to stick with that theme.

I bought this chalkboard from Michael's awhile ago and thought it would be perfect for my project.  I bought some paint from Michael's as well and painted it green.  I used the Cherry Red Twine for the inside of my chalkboard.  I also used the Olive Green along with the Cherry Red to hang it.  The snowman is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Snow Peeps Cutting File.

I used the Snow Faces 1 1/4" for my Snowman's face.

I have a card to share with you too.  The scalloped circles are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Scalloped Circles Cutting Files.  The watermelon is from PPPR's Watermelon Cutting Files.  The face is from The Cornies Face Assortment.  The twine is Cherry Red from Timeless Twine.

The sentiment is from the Veggie Sentiments ONE stamp set.

The Face is from The Cornies Face Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to stop by Peachy Keen's Blog to see what their fabulous Design Team made.

I wanted to keep my card simple just like the sketch.  I made this card with my husband in mind.  I thought I would surprise him with a card.

I embossed the background with one of my Lifestyle Crafts embossing folders.  The red, yellow & green arrows are from the Online Silhouette Store.  The big arrow border is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Borders 4 cutting file.  The word bubble is also from PPPR, it's from the Speech Bubbles Cutting File.  The sentiment is from Peachy Keen's Veggie Sentiments ONE

Timeless Twine Autumn Splendor

Good Morning Friends!!

Today is the start of a new release from Timeless Twine.  Introducing Autumn Splendor.  Isn't it perfect for fall?  I love the color combination.

Here is what I made to share with you.  This beautiful basket is from SVG Cut's Fall Harvest SVG Kit.  Before gluing the basket together I ran the pieces through my wood grain embossing folder.

In the picture below you can see the twine behind the flowers.

I also made an Acorn.  This acorn is from the Acorn Autumn SVG Kit.  This acorn is huge.  I originally made to go in the basket but it pretty much takes up the whole basket.  LOL.  And I thought the basket was big.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Head on over to Timeless Twine to see what the rest of the design team made.  Have a great weekend.

~~PPPR~~Happy Halloween

Hello Everyone!

Today is Design Team day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I know we are only in the middle of September but I've got a Halloween card to share with you today.  For the card base I used the Scalloped Circles Cutting files.  The circle is from the Layered Labels 1 Cutting files.  And the sentiment shape is from the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.

The cute little bat is from the Halloween Critters Cutting File.  The moon is actually from the Day at the Beach Cutting File, I just didn't use the ray part of the sun.  The cloud is from the Rainy Day Critters Cutting Files.  The sentiment is from the NEW Fright Night Stamp Set from My Creative Time.

The twine is Orange Pumpkin and Graphite Gray from Timeless Twine.  Don't they look good together?  I think they do.
I thought it would be fun to put the bat on an Action Wobbles.  Poor thing looks dizzy.  LOL.  You can see the Action Wobbles in the picture below.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day!!

Thank You Card

Hi Crafty Friends!

I don't know about you but I don't think you could ever have enough Thank you cards.  I always try to have a couple of hand because you never know when you are going to need one.  I made this one for a friend.  I'm going to send it to school with my son tomorrow, so he can give to his friend who can then give it to his mom.  Whew!  That was one long sentence.  :)

I used the Lemonade Yellow twine for my bow and the Olive Green twine in the background behind the tag.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's I'm here for you rain or shine stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by.   Have a great day.

PKS Photo Inspiration & Die Cuttin' Divas Sketch Challenge

Happy Hump Day!

How's your week going?  I'm all thrown off being that Monday was a holiday and the kids weren't in school.  I kept thinking I had more time for the Peachy Keen Challenge but then I realized that it was due today.  For the Peachy Keen Photo Inspiration Challenge we were supposed to use the picture below for in Inspiration.  I was inspired by the colors, mainly the yellow, orange & green.  They reminded me so much of fall.

I'm also making this card for the Die Cuttin' Divas Circular Sketch Challenge.

The scalloped circles are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Scalloped Circle cutting files.  The sentiment shape is from the Sentiment Spots 1 cutting file.  The stamped sentiment is from the Joy's Life It's all Fall Puns.

The pumpkins are from the Pumpkin Patch cutting files also by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I used the Monster Mash Face Assortment for the pumpkins face, they are by Peachy Keen.  The twine is Pumpkin Orange by Timeless Twine.

I'm also entering this card into the Paper Playtime Use 3 different papers challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great rest of the week.
