Be good to yourself!

Good Morning!

Hope you are having a great week.  I have a fun card to share with you today.  I made it for a friend who recently had surgery.  I thought it would cheer her up.

To make my card I used the Star Spangled Card Cutting Files. I sized it to 5.50 x 5.50 to make it the square shape.    The flourish is from the Flourishes 2 Cutting Files.  It is free until Thursday night.  The scalloped circle is from the Scalloped Circles Cutting Files.  The Scalloped Border is from the Borders 2 Cutting Files

Don't forget that there is the NEW Trick or Treat Challenge going on right now.

Have a great week!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Trick or Treat Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Trick or Treat Blog Hop!

If you came here from Leah's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog.

Today we are sharing Halloween projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Files.

I made a goodie bag using the Purse Bag Cutting Files.  I just didn't use the pieces that made it look like a purse.  For the Monsters I used the Little Monsters 2 Cutting Files. The tag is from the Layered Tags 2 Cutting Files.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Bewitched Stamp Set.  The twine is Trendy Twine's Grey Licorice.  I'm entering this into their Boo-tiful Treats Challenge.

Don't forget the new Blog Hop Freebie.  It will only be available until Sunday.  After that if will move to the 99 Cent Section.

The NEW Friday Freebie is these adorable Leafy Faces.  You can grab both of them HERE.

Sweets & Treats

Good Morning!

Can you believe we are already in October?  I sure can't and since Halloween will be here before I know I decided to try and get ahead of the game and start making treats for my boy's classes.

For the topper of my treat bag I used the Handled Treat Bag Topper Cutting Files.  I was able to get 9 of these toppers from each 12x12 sheet of patterned paper.  Not too bad since I have to make about 90 of these guys.  LOL.

The Caramel Apple is from the Fair Food Cutting Files.  The sentiment spot is from the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  My sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Bewitched Stamp Set.  The twine is Trendy Twine's Orange Licorice.

Don't forget to join us this weekend for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Trick or Treat Blog Hop.  You can join the Event of Facebook HERE.  The fun will start at Lisa's Blog.

Thanks for stopping by today!

See ya on Saturday!
