~~PPPR~~I love you like a nerd loves video games

Good Morning!

Today is Design Team Day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I had my boys in mind when I made this card.  They love playing video games right now.  I thought I would make this card to sneak in my oldest son's lunch box on Valentine's Day.  I know he loves the cards I make him because he still has them all in his room.  This one is on his dresser where he can see it every day.  He's my number one fan :)

The card shape came from the Layered Labels 1 Cutting File and the sentiment shape is from the Sentiment Spots 3 Cutting File.

The Controller is from the Ultimate Gamer Cutting File. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Funny Valentine Stamp set.

I'm also entering this into the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons "Love Challenge".

Thanks for stopping by today!  Don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team made.  You can see their projects HERE.

Love is in the Air

Good Morning!

Today is my day to post a project over on the Action Wobble blog.  I can't believe that January is almost over.  So I thought I would get ahead of the game and make a Valentine's Day card to share with you.

The card shape is from the Layered Labels 3 Cutting File.  The Hot air balloon is from the Heart Balloon Cutting File.  Oh and the clouds are from the Kite & Clouds Cutting File.  All of these files are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

Here is the wobble in action.  It's a good thing the hot air balloons don't swing back and forth like this.  That wouldn't be a fun ride at all.  LOL.

This is the inside of the card.  I left it empty so I can write inside later.

I'm entering this card in Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Monthly Challenge.  The theme of this month's challenge is "Love".  I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge.

~~PPPR~~ Stinkin of You

Good Morning!!

Today is Design Team Day over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  During the holiday break a skunk some how got into one of the class rooms as my son's school and sprayed the class.  What a way to come back from break!  I felt bad for the Teacher, so I thought I would make her a little treat to cheer her up.  I thought she would get a kick out of my project.

I was able to get 4 of these little peanut bags into the purse.  They fit perfectly.  The skunk is from the Rainy day Critters Cutting file.  I dressed him up in the school's colors and put a paw on his shirt for the school mascot.  The paw is from the Safari Love Cutting File.  The speech bubble is from the Speech Bubbles Cutting File.  The sentiment is perfect for him too.

The twine is Marigold & Midnight Blue from The Twinery.  Isn't he cute?  He did make the Teacher laugh and smile.  Which she hadn't done since her class had been sprayed.  :)  The sentiment is from Pink by Design.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Have a great day!

PPPR Love is in the Air Blog Hop

"If you came here from Gloria's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog.

Today we are making projects that are all about Love using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Files.  Here is what I made.  I plan on giving to my girlfriend who collects bees.

For my box I used the Fancy Pillow Box 2 Cutting File.  I put a King Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cup treat inside for her.  To cover the wrapper I just welded two of the scalloped borders together and made it big enough to cover the wrapper.  The border is from the Borders 2 Cutting File.

The sentiment shape is from the Sentiments Spots 3 Cutting File.   The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Got Candy Stamp set.  The adorable bee is from the Honey Bees Cutting File from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

I'm entering this into Jaded Blossom's Valentine's Challenge.
